15+ Podcasts for Speech Therapists

As a speech-language pathologist working in home health, I spend a lot of time in my car. I'm not sure what I would do without podcasts.

What is a podcast? A podcast is a digital audio or video file on a themed topic. These recordings are similar to a radio or talk show.  They can be listened to live or downloaded using an app on an Apple (iOS) or Android devices.

When I first transitioned from working in the schools to home health, Laura Mize from Teach Me To Talk was a life savor.  There were few other podcasts related to speech therapy 3 years ago but I'm happy to see new ones popping up. They are great for entertainment, learning something new or sharing with families.

If you are new to podcasts or listen on a regular basis hopefully you'll find something new in the list below.
